At the beginning of our journey, we had the honor of developing the Oficina Origem project, the first major challenge for our office. This innovative project was designed for the Brasilia brand Origem, a company committed to the democratization of electric transport in Brazil, producing 100% national electric motorcycles.

Project's goal

Our main objective was to create the brand's first workshop, a model space dedicated to the repair and periodic inspections of Origem electric motorcycles. Focusing on intuitive and functional flows and uses, we designed an environment that facilitates the movement of both motorcycles and mechanics, ensuring an efficient and pleasant experience for everyone involved.

Planning and Functional Design

​

Outside, we plan the route of the motorcycles with clear signage for the washing stop before entering the workshop and for changing the battery at the battery change station. Inside the workshop, we carefully consider the entry and exit of motorcycles, as well as the movement of mechanics and their carts in the repair areas. Every detail was thought out so that the pilot's path was intuitive and inviting. We used a colorless glass partition for the waiting room that invites you to enter the comfortable space and in front of the waiting room we positioned the entrance to the bathroom, which is accessible.

Facade and Aesthetics

​

The facade of the workshop was designed with a touch of elevation and prominence, visually separating it from the adjacent gate. We used a metalwork marquee with a perforated sheet metal lining, which filters light and heat, creating a dynamic interaction with sunlight throughout the day. The external showcase, which highlights the motorcycle, keeps the brand's visual identity always present.

The Oficina Origem project is a testament to our ability to integrate functionality and design, creating spaces that not only meet practical needs, but also elevate the user experience. This inaugural project marked the beginning of our journey, establishing a standard of excellence that we continue to pursue with each new challenge.
